Oh foundation, my number 1 go to in makeup. I have three things I won't go without: foundation, brows, lashes. Those are my personal essentials. In terms of foundation I personally like something that's full coverage with a matte finish. My skin type is on the oilier side.

We are always thinking about being overall healthier... But what about the importance of your gut health? According to studies, prebiotics - the fibres that feed beneficial gut bacteria - are linked to enhanced brain function and resilience to stress. This particular study links health benefits to improved non rapid eye movement (NREM) sleep and rapid eye movement sleep (REM) after stressful events. An easy fix is taking a prebiotic pill, however, other sources include certain foods. Artichokes, raw garlic and onions are easy choices that can be easily incorporated into your diet, for example in soups, stir-fries, omelettes and other dishes.
All of us have a life story, or a 'life script'. Your story may be happy, sad or tragic. The moral of this blog post is that we have our story and that our story doesn't have us. What do I mean by this? Our past events and our interpretation, experiences and memories of them run our lives and shape our future. All of this happens on a subconscious level where early decisions have made unconsciously determine how we will live our lives.
Take a moment and step outside your story.
Sometimes we get stuck in life, we settle for experiences that we get no satisfaction from, and we choose to continue in a loop and stay in "unhappy" places - i.e. work, friendships, relationships, lifestyle etc. We do this because it is comfortable, it's familiar and it becomes our comfort zone. It fits well with our internal script that we continue to follow.

- Is it creating a life that works for you?
- Does it bring you vitality, confidence, self love and acceptance?- Does it enable to you tap into your highest potential and deepest passion?
The good news is that you can change your story at anytime...

What we tell ourselves is what we believe.
Momentary satisfactions that change our external circumstances - i.e. eating a piece of cake, getting a new car, moving, getting a pet etc - eventually will leave you feeling the same. They will bring you initial excitement but eventually that excitement will dim and you will continue with your initial habits and internal story.
You can overcome the past patterns and behaviours that are running your life... and change the direction of your life in a more positive way.
1. Go back to the beginning and re-examine
Acknowledge your current life script and path that you have walked down to this moment. What subconscious parts of you are seeking your attention? The decisions and experiences you have had up to this point have unconsciously been the driving force for the decisions you currently make on the daily.
Ask yourself these questions:
How do you feel about yourself?
What do you think about the World? Others?
What did your parents teach you about: You? Life? Death? Love? Sex? Money?
What were some of the major ¨DO´S¨ that you learned throughout your life?
What were some of the major ¨DON'TS¨ that you learned and accepted?
What is one important decision you made when you were little?
What are you doing now to make your ideal life become a reality?
Now... leave the past in the past.
2. Re-creating your story
- Take a close look at any burdens you are currently carrying from your past, acknowledge them... and now let them go
- Open your mind and create new opportunities in your life. Sometimes we come up with all of the reasons why we won't be able to achieve something, i.e., it's too hard, it's impossible, I'm too busy, I've failed before, People doubt me, etc. Instead of starting with the negative in mind, start with the positive, i.e., I can, I will, taking it one day at a time etc.
– Think in a way you didn't think before and do what you didn't do before
- Develop your authenticity and dare to express yourself as fully as possible: JUST BE YOU AND OWN IT
- Nurture and expand your sense of choice in life. You create your own destiny, step out of your comfort zone, go for the goals that scare you, live each day with productivity, stop holding yourself back and allowing outside influences to hold you back. As cheesy as it sounds, you have one life, take advantage of it.
3. A new beginning
A fresh start.
Okay, here's the start of the new beginning.
Grab a pen and paper.
Closely look back at all the stages of your development to this point.
List the 'big events' of your life and the people who shaped them.
Now this is important: ONLY find positive things that have happened to you.
How you feel about this new history?
Continue to write until you have found 8 milestones in your life that were supportive, enriching or enjoyable.
Now, another important point. We do not forget the trauma, hard times or struggle we have experienced in our lives. Those times are as equally as important and have shaped parts of who we are, the important point is that we should not let them define us or drag us down.
Remember... What we focus on grows. This is where the law of attraction comes into play. The more positivity we put into the world, the more positivity will be given back to you. Therefore by taking a minute to examine your past and re-examine your future to create a more positive and re-designed story you will drive more fortune into your life, creating a gateway to a better, braver, and happier future.
